DZJ Coding for Trench Installation
The Cable Trench Support uses the DZJ steel support system for layered cable placement in cable trenches and cable tunnels. Its model code shows the main dimensional variables required for selection.
- Model format: DZJ-n-h-b.
- "n" indicates the number of cantilever-arm layers.
- "h" indicates the column height.
- "b" indicates the cantilever-arm length.
- The coding system allows drawings, order lists, and installation information to use the same model reference.
Fixing Method and Cable Spacing
The support is formed from metal sheet using automated manufacturing processes and includes installation details intended for trench construction.
- Combined expansion bolts are used for fixing instead of conventional welded fixing at the installation location.
- A grounding connection hole is provided for grounding coordination.
- Listed spacing for power cable supports is 1000 mm.
- Listed spacing for control cable supports is 800 mm.
- Layer quantity and structural dimensions can be confirmed from the trench section and cable arrangement.
